What was funded: RiverArts Activity Room Participants: Frayser Community Project Coordinator: Lurlynn Franklin

Welcome to Frayser is a multifaceted project that includes community designed mural signage and the launch of a coloring book honoring the Frayser community. It began with Lurlynn Franklin asking her students “What do you like about your community?” The question prompted hundreds of submitted drawings, of which 5 were selected. The project was then expanded into the larger community by having the 5 designs formatted into a coloring sheet style template and incorporated into traveling mural parties.

The mural signs will be posted throughout Frayser.
